BKV Corporation (NYSE: BKV) closed its ~$370 million acquisition of Bedrock Production, LLC, acquiring Bedrock Energy Partners’ Barnett Shale assets in a deal that materially expands BKV’s scale and operational footprint in the basin. The transaction adds ~97,000 net acres directly offsetting BKV’s existing acreage, critical midstream infrastructure, and ~108 MMcfe/d of production (as of June 30, 2025; ~63% natural gas). The acquired position includes 1,121 producing locations and ~800 Bcfe of proved reserves, and provides additional upside through ~50 new drill locations (10,000-foot equivalent laterals) and ~80 low-cost refrac candidates, strengthening BKV’s inventory depth and capital efficiency in the Barnett.
